Who does the work? The population of this country is 300 million. 150 million are retired, so that leaves 150 million to do the work. There are 80 million in school and 36 million employed by the federal government, leaving 34 million to do the work. With 5.2 million in prisons, 2.8 million in the armed forces, and 24.8 million people who work for state and local governments, that leaves 1.2 million to work. At any given time there are 1,199,998 people in hospitals, leaving just 2 people to do the work, you and me. And there you are, sitting on your hands, reading jokes, while I do all the work!
